Fishing Hero includes over 800 different kinds of fish, from sharks to massive swordfish and you can travel to 20 real world locations to do your fishing: New York, Vancouver and Alaska are just a few. The game has a Fish Wiki so you can keep track of the fishes you catch and there’s even the option to have trophy fishes in an in-game aquarium that you can later use as a Windows screensaver.
To celebrate the open beta, Fishing Hero has several events and the player with the highest level will win a real life fishing rod/reel combo from Shimano, which is worth approximately $400 USD. Check the official site for details.
