Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden is a film and media complex that is owned by Warner Bros.. Studio and Backlot sitting in the Rolls-Royce factory location in the former Leavesden Aerodrome, which is an important center of aircraft production during World War II. It is located in west Hertfordshire about 18 miles (29 km) northwest of Central London, just north of Watford.
Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, is one of the few places in Britain where large-scale production can be made. Studio contains approximately 500,000 square feet (50,000 m2) of flexible space which includes stage space, production office space and support buildings, along with the Backlot area 80-acre (320,000 m2), which offers uninterrupted 180-degree horizon, which is advantageous for exterior sets.
