Before it was pretty but it was dry and in need of love, I gave it my kinda love, PAINT.
It still has the lovely cedar lining .
I painted the box with a watered down grey paint , I let it dry , then I painted on a cream paint , used a damp old t-shirt and rub it about and off until I reached the desired effect, I started at the back to perfect my finish . Then I sanded parts I felt needed sanding , and that was it . I don't know the exact colors I used because the labels have faded . I used latex paint.
